- Good Business Charter
Our aim is to inspire as many organisations as possible to follow good business practices.
Our mission to encourage and recognise responsible business practices.
We value people, society and the environment
The Good Business Charter is a simple accreditation scheme recognising responsible behaviour over 10 components.
The Good Business Charter measures behaviour over 10 components:
1. real living wage
2. fairer hours and contracts
3. employee well-being
4. employee representation
5. diversity and inclusion
6. environmental responsibility
7. paying fair tax
8. commitment to customers
9. ethical sourcing
10. prompt payment.
An organisation must meet all 10 commitments to receive GBC accreditation. It’s open to the private sector, public sector and charities of all sizes including a streamlined version for organisations with 50 employees or less.
Signing up to the GBC is free in the first year and then £25 per year for organisations with less than 51 employees.
All members of the Good Business Charter Community will have the opportunity to meet and learn from fellow members.
