I'm a very focused individual and just 'ok' is never good enough. Since starting photography and videography I've spent a considerable amount of time and effort trying to increase my knowledge and experience in showcasing property interiors and exteriors (from an interior design and architectural perspective). I've invested in various courses to increase my skills as a photographer/videographer and editor. I've also invested in the right equipment, from mirrorless cameras, tilt shift lenses, professional video equipment to drones. I have the ability to take aerial shots up to 8 metres, without the use of drones. If that's not enough I'm also an authorised Drone Pilot (CAA - GVC). So have the capability to photograph or video from up to 400 feet high.
I served as a police officer for 23 years before being medically retired in 2015 due to a heart condition.
Since retiring I developed an interest in photography/videography/drones, in particular the architectural and interiors side of properties. My Wife started her own Estate Agency business, so I volunteered to take the photographs/videos and that's where my passion for this type of photography/videography began.
Thanks to that opportunity I now have a wealth of experience in videography, ambient photography, using artificial lighting and or combining both. I'm experienced and proficient in using Lightroom, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro and Motion, which allows me to achieve an enhanced, polished finish.
I've received a lot of great feedback in relation to both my photography and videography from both clients and my peers.
It's my aim to ensure the people I work with enjoy working with me and that they love the work that I produce. It's important that I deliver a product which is beyond what clients are expecting. I'm a perfectionist and like my work and work ethos to be seen as high standard. I will always go the extra mile to get the best images/videos and finish possible, with the clients needs front and foremost. This approach means clients will want to come back to work with me again and again!
For the last 6 years I've worked with Estate Agents, Holiday Home owners, Interior Designers, Developers and various other property businesses. I am predominantly self taught, in photography, videography, motion graphics and editing (Lightroom, Photoshop and Final Cut Pro). I have invested heavily in numerous paid tutorials, courses and I have received additional training through mentors who specialise in my field of expertise. I am a very focused individual, which helps me strive to deliver the best quality possible.
